The single brand colour. It appears on the symbol, primary actions, links, key data points and accents - used with intent, never as a flood fill.
700 is hover/pressed · 500 renders the logo against busy backgrounds · 200–50 are tints for surfaces and subtle fills.
The dark canvas for heroes, presentations and modals - almost always paired with a violet-to-cyan particle gradient. Pure black is avoided; #14141C is the deepest ink.
Secondary brand colours, used sparingly. Cyan is the most common pairing with violet in motion graphics; UNIC red signals the University relationship; amber is reserved for rare emphasis.
Text and surfaces. Light surfaces are warm-neutral - never grey-tinted. Slate #52565A is the workhorse for secondary copy.
The particle gradient is the brand’s hero texture. Use full-bleed in title and hero moments only - never as decoration inside body sections.
Two background modes only - dark deep-space or warm white. No mid-tone grey backdrops. Keep text contrast at WCAG AA or better.
Don’t set body text in amber, cyan or red-orange on white - these are accent colours, not text colours. Reserve them for fills, data highlights and motion.
